There Was Just One Place That Really Stood out to Me

My spouse asked if I would take care of all the logistics for our move to Singapore. That seemed like a lot for me to focus on, but everything turned out well and much easier than I could have imagined. I first started out by looking for a place for the two of us to live. The place that stood out to me the most is the New Futura condo building because it looked like a much nicer alternative over just defaulting to a small apartment. I continued looking at apartments for quite some time, until I finally realized that living in a condo would be much nicer.

I sat down with my husband to go over my findings one day before we made our move. We had originally planned to find an apartment building that we both liked, but I told him that I wasn’t really finding anything that would be suitable. (more…)

Wanting to Start My Own Business As a Certified Property Manager

There are a lot of rental properties around where I live. Plus, a lot of the landlords do not live anywhere close by. Some landlords own several homes in my area, and I was wanting to have a certified property manager certification to have my own business of managing rental properties for different landlords. I figured that if I did a good job for an affordable price, I could convince them to let me manage the things landlords typically have to do. I had a plan to provide the service to many landlords. That way I could make it affordable and even attractive to them while making up for any discounts by doing the work in quantity. (more…)

Saved Us in a Big Way

After the pipes burst in the basement, the first thing my husband said after climbing the stairs is that we better start looking for luxury apartments in Nashville. I didn’t think the damage could be that bad, but it was worse. After we got the water pumped out of the basement it was apparent that the damage the water caused was not going to be easily repaired.

Even worse was the assessment of the service people who showed up to clean up the mess. (more…)
